Sarah Permelia ARNOLD was born in May 1865 in Summerville, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Her father was James J ARNOLD, born in Alabama in 1838. He had served in the Confederate Army from Alabama. He married Aminda Clemintine BRAWNER in September 1862 in Murray Co, Georgia. Aminda was born in Georgia in 1843. The family returned to Georgia in 1865 where other children were born. James ARNOLD reputedly returned to Canada and was to send for the family. Supposedly, he was killed in a train or mining accident. Seeking info on family MCCUSS(E). Arrived I think 1852/53/54 they may have been married in Ireland or here. Both were Catholic and I think worked the canals in Ireland. This is what they did here in the states on the Delaware and Hudson down to the Hudson River in New Jersey. Juliana MCCUSSE(E) b: 3/1830 d: 2/26/1901 m: John SMITH (parents were John SMITH and Annie Unknown). They lived in the Shade of Weehawken, N. J.
