Our Mission:
The mission of the Projects Registry Team is to support planned and existing genealogical projects which use or will use the Internet as a method of distributing information. Support from the Projects Registry Team will include identification, tracking and making information available on these projects, advice on organization and administration of projects and notification to the genealogical community of projects which need volunteers.
Our Vision:
It is our aim to make known the existence of projects planned or proposed internationally that will make the searching of genealogical data sources via the Internet freely accessible in the future. It is also our goal to assist projects that need advice in their start up and operations, and particularly to provide a means of connecting projects that need hands-on assistance with volunteers willing to provide their efforts to advance the availability of on-line searchable genealogical data.
