#IIGS-htmlhelp returns from vacation
The IIGS-htmlhelp channel was on vacation for the month of June but resumes this Sunday, July 5th, at 6:30 AM Eastern US time, with it's weekday evening section resuming on Tuesday, July 7th, at 8 PM Eastern US time.
This channel, hosted by MaMaT (Holly Timm) is for the discussion of html from basics to more advanced techniques, covering subjects from actual coding to site planning and design. Some time in every meeting (and sometimes entire meetings) are devoted to troubleshooting problems. It is particularly geared to the creation and maintenance of genealogical sites, both those geared to presenting family information and those aimed at placing genealogical data on the web.
#SE-KY also returns from vacation
Also hosted by MaMaT (Holly Fee-Timm), the #SE-KY returns to the IIGS IRC server on Sunday July 5th at 12:00 Noon Eastern US time. Although discussion is generally focused on the Southeastern Kentucky counties, all researchers in the region are welcome and many of the sources, tips and techniques discussed are equally useful for other searchers. Stop by and visit, have a cup of MaMaT's infamous hillbilly coffee and enjoy some friendly genealogical chat.
